Once upon a time, a stitchpunk was hungry. Why was he hungry? The people who crafted his design made sure that if he ate metal that it would fuel him for fifty hours. If no metal could be found, he would end up stuck in one area, with a plea for help.
So, with the humans gone by machine wrath, 40 found the machines to be his source of food. The loss of mankind didn't affect him at all, since the machines rebuilt themselves.
Well, as the months passed, food was being harder to find, leaving his soul searching for more food. Not only food, but some friendly interaction, or possibly the combination of eating that friendly interaction as well.
As he lived, it was harder to tell machine from stitchpunk, but as he could tell by images, it was the patterns of the materials the dolls were made by that left his three eyes aware of which to eat and not to.
As he spun around, he heard a noise... What or who could it be? Friend, foe, or food?

"Vhy, guten tag Männchen!" boomed the talking ball. "Vhere didt du come from?" He smiled at 21 with no intent to eat him since he felt that he didn't look like a "snack" in his mind.
Meals to 40 were varied. His mind a menu or instructional guide on what not and to eat.

21 moved back as it came towards him and then he ran for it up to a safe position that he knew the ball count thing could not get up then loaded an arrow in his bow and aimed at 40 . “ stay back you armless thing I mean it” 21 yelled down shaking like a leaf barley holding on to the arrow

He stopped with a questionable look on his face. Then stared at the bow. "Ist that food?" After a moment of silence, the ball chuckled. "Of course that not food! Verzeihung! Sorry, Mein did't mean for such a dämlich mistake! Arrow eisn't meint t' be eaten!"'
Looking up, he saw fear in 21's mouth, as if teeth weren't meant to grind behind the lips. "Vhat's vrong? Be not afraid, u'm 40! Who be you?" Asked the brobdiginan behemenoth ball.

60 was out collecting things to catalog and identify, fascinated by what had endured through the war.
"Spoons, forks, metal objects of course," she muttered to herself as she dug through the rubble, wincing a bit as sharp objects caught on her cloth skin but didn't tear it. "What treasures lie in the mountians of waste?" she questioned in a singsong voice. She continued to dig when she heard a commotion around the corner. She looked up, surprised. Who else was out here? Racking her brain, she suddenly remebered that 21 was scheduled on patrol.
"Hmm, maybe he needs help..." she mused as she climbed over the debris. A strange sight meet her and she watched, fascinated at the ball stitchpunk. As pedicted, 21 was there, but holding his ground. She watched as the newcomer obviously tried friendly communication, but 21 would have none of it. She was about to say something to make herself known and introduce herself to the newcomer, but she slipped, tumbling down the debris and landed unceremoniously in a heap in front of the two. She looked up sheepishly at the other two stitchpunks.
"Well, that's one way to make an entrance," she laughed.

then loaded his bow and arrow again pointing it at 40 totally terrified “ my name is 21 the newbie behind me is 60 now rack of or I will shoot” 21 yelled this while shaking terrified of 40

As a reply to 21's comment, 60 simply stuck her cloth tongue out at him. "Lighten up 21," she commented as she gently pushed his bow down.
"If he was going to attack, he would have already. Your arrows would do little to a bloke like him." She looked at the newcomer. "Isn't that right, number...?"

"40, ur ast mein friend's say... Vierzig!" Spouted the ball with pride. Now, he doesn't remember much of his life as a human, but he still had that German feeling in that accent.
"Vhy attack? You speak, right?" 40 questioned with honesty.

60 blinked a bit, trying to decipher the stitchpunk's heavy accent. "Pleased to meet you or guten tag 40. Oh, him?" She laughed, jabbing her thumb toward 21.
"He's naturally paranoid with newcomers and needs work on his people skills." She walked up to 40, studying him. " You're quite an interesting character 40."

"Vhy, Danke! Und tu point out, 'guten tag' weise 'hello'" 40 thanked and instructed. He looked at the two with most emphusiasm since without any food, just having a conversation was like a meal to him. Sure, it didn't fuel him, but the interaction was enough for him to grow amongst his experiences as anyone else does.
Vierzig gave a laugh at 60's comment "Ein oonderstand. Sometime ein like that". Again he gave a chuckle almost as similar as the ghost of Christmas present, laughing heartfully for the now.

"Ah sorry. I never was good at German," she said. She listened to 21 and 40's comments. Of course.
60 nodded. "That maybe true, but you spoke, did you 40?" she wagged a finger at them. "40 made friendly conversation DESPITE his lack of arms and legs. I don't know about you guys but that classifies as 'friend'. I don't know why we should be so defensive about others who look or act different from us. If you had attacked us 40, then a different song would be sung, but," she said, looking at both stitchpunks. "That is not the case now, is it?"

"Wery true." the ball agreed with the speech. 40 calmed down, feeling no reason to boom with joy at the moment.
Then something stumped him. "Vhy I attack?"
